Dr. Adrian Avram
Dr. Avram obtained his Certificate for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Born in Romania, he received his dental degree at IuIiu-Hatieganu University, School of Dental Medicine, Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
During his training in dental school, he met his wife Zheni who is an internal Medicine physician with a specialty in geriatric medicine. Together they have two children, David (9) and Erik (5).
Dr. Avram with his family moved to Virginia in 2009. With over 15 years’ Experience in dental field, he is dedicated to providing exceptional dental care for adults, adolescents and Children. Continuing Education is a large part of remaining current in the dental field. Dr. Avram has done so by staying abreast of the latest advances in the clinical and technological areas and practices evidence-based dentistry. He trained with international recognized dentists like John Kois and Frank Spear. These are two critical components Dr. Avram believes are absolutely necessary for a practitioner to provide the best treatment possible for each of his patients. Currently, he is enrolled in the fellowship program of the Academy of General Dentistry which requires hundreds of hours of continuing education.

Outside the Office
Dr. Avram enjoys spending time with his two young children and his wife. When he has a chance, he also likes biking, skiing and traveling. Giving back to the community is very important, and he has volunteered at the Hillman Cancer Center in Pittsburg, PA. While there he helped patients with terminal illnesses after he lost a close member of his own family due to cancer. He is a volunteer with Wintergreen Ski Patrol helping injured individuals receive the first aid at the scene of an accident. Currently, he is assistant coach at his son’s soccer team with Strikers, Richmond.
